Start with the dimensions and use

• Diameter: state whether your drawing uses an inside or outside diameter.
• Height: give the overall height and operating water depth.
• Wall thickness: provide the specified thickness or identify it as not yet confirmed.
• Quantity and purpose: describe the intended aquarium, display or other application.
• Capacity: tell us the required working volume if this is how the project is defined.

Define what you need fabricated

Confirm whether the request is for an open cylinder, a cylinder with a bonded base, or a tank with a top cover or flange. Show openings, pipe connections, seals, removable parts and mounting details on a drawing. These details affect fabrication, inspection, packing and price.

The material and wall thickness must be reviewed for the actual water depth, geometry, supports and operating conditions. An acrylic cylinder quotation does not automatically include filtration, electrical equipment or the complete life-support system.

Prepare for delivery and handling

Provide the delivery country and city, installation access and target schedule. For a large cylinder, confirm transport dimensions and lifting arrangements with the project team before finalising the fabrication plan.
