Define the connection before machining

The flange drawing should identify outer diameter, wall thickness, length, flange dimensions, bolt-hole pattern, mating component and sealing arrangement. State the required tolerances and whether the flange is bonded or machined as part of the agreed assembly.

Confirm operating conditions and inspection

Tell us the intended fluid or medium, temperature, operating pressure and cleaning chemicals. Transparency alone does not establish chemical compatibility or a pressure rating. Sealing performance depends on the complete joint design, gasket, assembly and testing requirements.

Before production, agree the material specification, machining scope, dimensional checks and documentation needed for your equipment. Where the component is for a chamber or another regulated system, the equipment manufacturer must define the applicable testing and approval requirements.
