Hollow tube or solid part?

For a hollow cylinder, provide outside diameter, wall thickness and length. For a solid part, specify a rod and its diameter and length. Identify a critical inside diameter and fit tolerance where applicable.

Open ends or a finished assembly?

Show whether the cylinder needs a base, lid, openings, flanges or other machined details. A plain tube quote does not include these parts unless specified. Send a drawing or sketch of the finished component, quantity, intended use and destination.
